Meet the Photographer

I’m Maddi Bailey! I’m first and foremost a wife to my amazing husband Ethan! Has supported me the most as I grow in the wedding industry. I love all things active and outdoors. I also love to cook and bake! I have a mean Snickerdoodle cookie recipe. Other than that you can find me at church on Sundays, in my office on the weekdays, and also traveling the world when I can! My passion for photography started at 14 when I would watch nature documentaries. Eventually, I found myself in the wedding industry at the age of 18! I decided to learn on my own and start a business instead of going to college. I loved everything about the wedding industry, and honestly, I don’t think I will ever look back! I love photography’s capacity to freeze moments in time, to document love in all of its wild and wonderful forms. I love this job and it shows in my work!

One of my favorite aspects of photography is the people in front of the camera. The story they tell with their eyes when they look at someone or something they love. There’s a glow about couples that are so in love. I find joy in learning about how they became who they are today, and what trials they went through to get here. Their love stories are a true testament to God’s love and how good He is. I am married myself and love seeing people have that “in love” glow. I truly believe that Love is a verb and not a noun. It’s an action that you choose to take every day through rain and shine.

Lastly, I give full credit to Jesus who molded me into the creative I am today. I also attribute my confidence and my determination to my wonderful husband, Ethan. He has helped me grow into the businesswoman that stands before you. I cannot express how imperative his role has been in my career. 🙂

How many images will we receive?

It depends on how long your event is, but it is typically 100 photos per hour.

Do you travel for photoshoots?

I do! A always have my car well maintained for traveling and my passport updated and ready to travel to anywhere you are!

How long have you been a photographer?

I have been a photographer for 8 years! I have been shooting weddings for 3 years (within 3 years, I have over 150 weddings under my belt).

Can we meet you before booking?

You already know I would LOVE to! I would be thrilled to meet up in person or via FaceTime before booking!

What should we wear for photos?

I’m into the more neutral/earthy tones with minimal patterns! But I send over inspo photos and tips in my ‘What to Wear Guide’ if you book me!

Do you give us all of the RAW files?

I do not provide RAW images. I believe that the RAW images are owned solely by the photographer. What you are investing in is the final product curated for you, but edited by me and only me!

What if we need to raincheck or cancel?

I am totally down for a rain check! Whatever money you have put down for your shoot will go towards your rescheduled date! If we need to cancel (schedule is too busy, going another direction, or just simply not wanting to do it anymore) I understand! You can use your retainer payment towards a shoot in the future!
